How we work

The Fit-First Method.

Every partnership starts with fit. Not follower count, and not the biggest budget. Here's exactly how we work.

The method

Four parts, in this order

  1. 01

    Vet both sides

We check every creator and every brand before anyone is matched. Creators against our channel standards. Brands against our three groups of checks.

  2. 02

    Match on audience

We start with who watches. A creator fits when their viewers look like the brand's ideal customer: age, location and interests.

  3. 03

    Pitch with reasons

Every pitch says why the match makes sense. Brands see niche, size, views and audience. Creators see who the brand is and what they want.

  4. 04

    Run the whole partnership

Terms, content, timelines and payment, handled in one place. The brand pays Dekoura, and we pay the creator.

Vetting

How we vet creators

A creator joins our roster only when their channel meets all of these.

  • Size and views

50k to 1M subscribers, and at least 50k average views across the 10 most recent videos.

  • Real engagement

Real comments from real viewers. No signs of bought views or subscribers.

  • Steady uploads

The channel posts on a regular schedule.

  • Brand-safe content

We check past videos so the content is safe for brands.

  • Ready for deals

Every creator confirms they're open to brand deals right now.

Vetting

How we vet brands

A brand reaches our creators only when it passes these checks.

  1. 01

    Brand and audience fit

    • Audience match

Your ideal customer must closely match the creator's audience: age, location and interests.

    • Values and reputation

We check your public reputation and any past controversies. A creator can lose their audience's trust by promoting a company with a bad track record.

    • Product quality

Your product must really work. Creators get the best results when they can honestly use it and recommend it.

  2. 02

    How you work with creators

    • Creative freedom

We look for brands that shape guidelines together with the creator, not a stiff corporate script. Viewers respond to the creator's own voice, not an ad being read out.

    • Approval process

We confirm how many rounds of changes you need and who gives final sign-off. Slow approvals with many layers break upload schedules.

    • Usage rights and whitelisting

We confirm if you want to reuse the content on your own channels or run it as paid ads (whitelisting). That needs an extra licensing fee for the creator.

  3. 03

    Campaign setup

    • Clear goals

You know what success looks like: awareness (views and impressions) or sales (clicks and promo code uses).

    • Experience with creators

Brands that have worked with creators before usually have realistic expectations about timelines, deliverables and tracking.

    • Fair pay

We avoid commission-only deals unless the creator asks for one. Good brands respect standard base rates for content.

We vet brands as carefully as we vet creators.

Why fit

Why fit beats follower count

  1. 01

The right viewers matter more than more viewers

A video seen by people who could actually buy the product is worth more than one seen by people who never will.

  2. 02

    A good fit sounds natural

When a creator truly uses and likes a product, the video sounds like advice. Viewers can tell the difference.

  3. 03

Good fits lead to more deals

When a partnership works for both sides, it's easier to turn one video into a long-term retainer.

Step by step

What happens, for each side

  1. 1

    Start a campaign

Fill in the short survey. It takes about 2 minutes.

  2. 2

    We review your brand

We look at fit, goals, budget and how you work with creators.

  3. 3

    We find your matches

We look for creators whose audience fits your ideal customer.

  4. 4

    You get a shortlist

Each creator comes with niche, channel size, average views, audience and a short pitch on why they fit. Names stay private at this stage.

  5. 5

    We make introductions

Once we agree to work together and sign a simple partnership agreement, we share full creator details.

  6. 6

    We handle the rest

Terms, content and timelines, from the creator's side. You pay Dekoura, and we pay the creator.
